PRESS RELEASE: DBMS TRAINING FOR DINAGAT ISLANDS PROVINCE

With the Provincial Government’s push for modern, efficient, and organized service to the Dinagatnons, the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) from the Province of Dinagat Islands requested the National Computer Center (NCC) to conduct a Database Management System Training. The trainees are taught to use MS-Access, a powerful but simple to operate  Database Software. Headed by Dr. Teresita Torremonia and Yolynne Medina as the Instructor, the training ran from December 8 to 12, 2008. It was held at News MPC Hall with 33 participants coming from different offices. Registration fee is P 6,000.00 inclusive of meals and snacks. For better facilitation, the trainees are divided into groups and at the last day of training each group was required to present their projects and outputs. The trainees are exceptionally excited and thankful to the new skills they acquire, it will surely make them better provincial employees.
