Ikaw ba ay may Tahanan?
Karamihan din ay mayroon
pero ang iilan ay walang hagdanan

Sa tahanan paa ang syang gamit
lakad, takbo at laro
mga galaw na ang pag-gamit ay sulit

Ngunit kaibigan ko nito’y wala
gulong na kakabit
ng silyang kayliit, ginagamit ng pilit

Kung kami ay magyayayaang maglaro
Sa mga gabi na buwan ay maliwanag
tawanan at hagikhikan mistulang hindi maglalaho

Kay sarap maging kaibigan
kalaro ko na kung saan
ang tirahan ay ang tahanang walang hagdanan

Ohhh.. medyo senti lang ako because I remember the times we visited Tahanang Walang Hagdanan (Home for Disabled People… but aren’t we all in one way or another disabled also???! diba?) I still remember the people’s faces and on how they were able to overcome what we so call their disabilities, by discovering their other magnificent abilities, like drawing using the feet and doing tasks without their hands and feet; situations that we don’t imagine we can survive if in case we exchange places with them.

If you are in Manila or near, it would be nice to visit them once in awhile and also patronize their products.
